Privacy Policy
What we collect, and what we do with it
Last updated: July 6, 2026
Who this covers
This policy covers g-lab.studio and the free Online Presence Diagnostic tool on it. It's operated by G-Lab Studio. If you have any question about it, email hello@g-lab.studio.
What we collect
When you run the free diagnostic, we collect exactly what you type into it:
- Your business name, business type, and city/country
- Your website URL, Instagram/social link, and Google Maps/Business link — all three are optional
- If you ask for the full report: your email address, and optionally your name
We do not ask for a password, a phone number, or payment details to run the diagnostic. We don't use cookies or any analytics/tracking script on this site today, so we don't collect browsing behavior beyond standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp — the same baseline data any web server keeps).
What we do with your website, social, and Google links
If you provide a website URL, our server fetches the public homepage of that URL to check things like whether it's mobile-friendly, whether a booking or contact path is visible, and whether an AI assistant could complete a reservation on it. The same applies to a submitted social profile link (we check that it's reachable) and a Google Maps link (we check that it looks like a valid profile link). We don't log into anything, we don't scrape data that requires an account, and we don't run this check against any URL other than the one you submit.
Why we collect it
Solely to run the diagnostic you asked for and, if you gave us your email, to send you the full report and — if it's genuinely relevant to what the diagnostic found — to follow up about G-Lab's paid services. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Diagnostic submissions are stored so we can send your report and follow up if you asked us to. If you'd like your data deleted, email hello@g-lab.studio and we'll remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what we have on file for you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email hello@g-lab.studio and we'll handle it directly; there's no automated self-service flow for this yet.
Children's privacy
G-Lab Studio is a business-to-business tool for people running or managing a local business. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or why changes materially, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
